So we’ll start on the dramas of the day - for me, it’s white van man! Tell me what planet do they come from and what gives them some god given right to drive like lunatics with total disregard for anyone not in a white van! And even more so, where do they learn to gesture in such a way as to offend beyond - everyone is entitled to mumble misgivings under their breath - i do regularly - but do not find the need to wave my hands in such a way or shout obscenities out of the window to make even the most hardcore quake in their boots! I wouldn’t mind quite so much, but he was doing about 60 in a 20 mile speed limit and he knew it - how on earth can you get out of someone’s way (when you’re not technically in his way anyway) when you are doing that kind of speed… anyway, stroke the mountain, stroke the mountain….

So it’s the weekend coming up - in charge of my friends’ 3 children this weekend along with husband and my daughter and we’re staying at their fabulous house in the South Downs where quite frankly all you want to do is dress like Margo from the Good Life and ask Jerry to pour you a Gin and tonic all evening! Forget worrying about the kids - we should be having fabulous cocktails at eight,(more like orange squash probably) it should be a beautiful evening (it’s not) and we should be shimmying by the pool by 8.30 (but we won’t because they put the cover on last weekend and it’s cold!!).But I can dream….

This house is so state of the art, you just waft around, passing your hand across the walls and mood lighting comes on etc etc etc - the stereo systems are hidden in the walls everywhere and even the cat has a heated bed with it’s own remote control!!

So will check in after weekend - feel free to shop away on the site!! Lots of new lovely things in for Christmas - decorations, cosmetics bags, gorgeous new jewellery from France which we love and more of those yummy Jill Briggs mixed gem bracelets - the onyx one is to die for and actually think i will have to have one myself - will look good with my range of fabulous evening dresses that i shall be wafting around this weekend - well actually i won’t but they look great with jeans and wellies too!!
