Now due to my latest attempt at detoxing and insisting on a daily basis that coffee is bad for me (only had one today…..), I have really been quite good and am learning to cut back….that is my mantra on a daily basis!! (Or not, depending on how the day is going….)
But after standing in Waitrose pouring over the herbal teas, I have since discovered that one can only drink so much camomile and something and peppermint just doesn’t float my boat. And none seem to be having any form of diet assisting qualities until now that is!!
White Tea is my new best friend - and not the builder’s variety!!! No tea made with unoxidised tea leaves (how right on am I!!!!) has shown in experiments on human fat cells that an extract of White Tea appears to prevent the production of new fat cells and helps stimulate the movement of fat from existing cells!! And it doesn’t stain your teeth!! (Equally important…..)

Oh it only seems like yesterday that I was wandering around a soaking Chelsea for another year running and true to form, it’s not going to be any different for the opening day tomorrow! Can’t you just give us a break Mr Weather and let the sun shine for once!!!
But as usual, we can always find something within the Chelsea Flower Show to bring a smile to our face and forget the cold and this year we love the fact that Susannah Hunter (we are mad fans here….) has been been commissioned by the Royal Horticultural Society to do the visuals and merchandising for this year’s show!
