Well we have just fallen in love with the latest craze of Flash Mobs and doing mad things to get people’s attention!  Forget Speakers Corner….and now it’s the turn of the Fash Mob!!!

With the launch of the glorious Coco Before Chanel movie opening on Friday, it wouldn’t be fashion if they weren’t thinking out of the box and setting trends etc

So grab your twinset and pearls and head on down to St Pancreas Station tomorrow night at 6 pm and become a Chanel groupie for a moment!  Join the Queens of Vintage to create the first Fash Mob in homage to one of history’s greatest  fashion designers!

Fashion lovers and vintage queens will gather in their finest attire to wave at the Eurostar and join in a group hug to pay their respects!!!

Now unfortunately I will be flying into Luton at that point but maybe the pearls will be shining enough for me to see from the skies!  Wish I was there…..

Well folks it usually takes my annual jaunt into the mountains in Portugal to get creative, drink too much wine and decide that we should overhaul What a Girl Needs with new ideas, stock etc etc

It has come to my attention that over the past few months you have all taken the words What a Girl Needs quite literally and buy such fabulous items like Yummie Tummies and Spanx until we have no stock and need to order more!!  And of course we are not complaining but it makes us think!!!

So as much as it pains me to suggest, I feel we are making a move towards certain things more than others - but then in the same breath I watch you all buy Chan Luu and 10m2 jewellery as if your life depended on it and rest assured that we will continue with such fabulous designers as these and probably more!

So it is with trepidation that we open another bottle of wine this evening and I feel the need to ask you all what you would really like to see on the site.  We want to talk about music more because it’s our favourite past time and we want to bring you all the latest makeup and beauty ideas, fabulous jewellery from designers we just love, all the essentials you need to be fabulous all the time (even if you’re hiding all sorts..) and we want to tell you who  has the  best sales this week and quite honestly anything else we think you should know about!

And as so many of you love to see our fabulous sales happening every now and then, they will continue with the applomb they deserve so keep a watchful eye….

So just as I am thinking that the old Mateus Rose sounds like a good idea again (when I vowed last night never again….), look forward to an Autumn and Christmas at What a Girl Needs with everything you’ll want for the party season and need to get through it!!!!
