1. Colin at Mahogany to cut my hair - I love him and my hair loves him more…however it is unnerving to end up in the same restaurant on a Sunday afternoon when one is not looking quite so fabulous and his gorgeous wife doesn’t have a hair out of place! Note to self…..check the guestlist…or chill….
2. Anything in camel -ideally the camel coat from DKNY….but who sells it…it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack…. especially as haystacks are more than often camel in colour….
3. Jil Sander at Uniqlo….as I can’t be in Westfield or Regent Street on Thursday Oct 1st, I will wait up till midnight on Wednesday….it goes live on www.uniqlo.com ….is that desperate???? Who cares….
4. Jeans for Genes day this week on Friday…good excuse to purchase new pair of James….currently my best fit….and obviously give teenager extra £1 to take into school for good karma…
5. It’s 100% Design Week and Decorex….interior heaven….everyone should do it…xx
Well Sundays are all about the glossies for me and I am in heaven once I have finished Sunday lunch and collapse on the sofa knee deep in every Sunday Mag known to man….thus giving me my celeb/fashion/beauty/recipe/restaurant fix to last me the week!
Some might say that’s information overload and shallow but I say in a world that is full of doom and despair, a girl should be allowed one day off to lose herself in a world where all that is important is to worry about what shade of lipstick to wear, should I go brown, high heels or flats and where should I meet up this week for my weekly drink with the girls!! (That last one is a new resolution starting this week!)
So very excited this afternoon to sit down with the new look STYLE Mag from Sunday Times which I am loving and obviously I am now rushing out to buy something in Vermilion as it is this season’s breakout colour don’t you know!!!

Teenager quotes countdowns at me as if her life depended on it…. she even sleeps with a poster of Edward on her ceiling….is that right? Shouldn’t she be worrying about triganometry (is that how you spell it????) rather than practising her signature for the marriage certificate???? Now as teen symbols, I have to say I am rather taken with him myself and completely understand what all the fuss is about…..I mean any man who can wear that shade of Chanel red lipstick and still look cool, gets my vote!! I look just as pale and washed out when I wear it but somehow the effect is not quite the same…..well it probably isn’t Chanel but it won’t be long before they’re on the bandwagon! I mean there is already a range of Twilight makeup so why not????….
So, we have decided here to make him our pin up for this month and start a trend here at WAGN towers where we nominate a pin up for every month!

And feel for Sienna Miller who really does take a dressing down!

Ok - we might make out we’re right up there with the coolest and the best but there are some things we just have to accept….living in Wallingford or (Wallywood as we like to fondly call it….) has some good things….we have the river, we have a Waitrose and we can get great coffee from our friend Sally in the Deli…but we always get our movies late….
So whilst we have seen the trailer for “Coco avant Chanel”, and heard enough to write the book ourselves, tonight was the night for me to absolutely fall in love with everything about that film…
I want to be Audrey Tautou…I want dark curly hair cut just like hers (instead of being a blonde and insisting I should like Sharon Stone…forget that! Dark is the new me…..) I want all those early clothes….how cool did she look in those jodphurs….and that line that says “black brings out your eyes…” - see, who needs House of Colours telling you that black is not to your skin tone…. just quote that everytime!!!
I knew I was right - black is always the new black and beautiful clothes that fit like a dream will always win….shame they’re a bit on the pricey side but take the look, give it the attitude and high street will sort it!!!
Tonight I’m in love with all things Chanel and maybe even a little bit with Audrey……even the teenager bought pearls today in Primark….see it’s catching!! And as for husband, well even he liked it…
