Now now….steady….you’re thinking where’s she going with this one… and no we are not talking about the Canadian Heavy Metal band 3 Inches although I do have to say that’s quite a nifty way of them getting a mention on this blog!!! And almost breathing the same air as Justin Bieber on this  page!! How funny is that!!

No it is nothing more but my no means nothing less than one of the most fabulous inventions since the GHD irons!  

The theory is somewhat the same - how to make your hair appear 3 inches longer but this time it’s without the ruin and split ends!  And let’s face it as we all get a little bit older the mushroom effect that may well have suited us in in our tender years is not such a good look now!

So we have been trying out the 3 Inches More System from Michael Van Clarke for a couple of weeks now and by using the Pre-wash treatment, shampoo and conditioner we do have to say that our hair is really rather soft and fab - I might like to liken it to almost cashmere but you might actually think I have lost the plot but it is divine! And with the hammering my hair takes with the blow dry and irons, this is a godsend!!

I might actually go as far to say that forget Cheryl Cole and her extensions…. get me on the ad - I’ll flick my cashmere locks with the best of them|!!

Don’t know if it’s hit your house yet but Bieber Fever is raging here!

Unless you have been living under a small tree, and not spoken to a teenage girl in the last month (which obviously in my house is not possible) you will doubtless be aware of

  said popstar!!!

I thought no-one could replace the affections of teenager for Robert Pattinson but along comes a small, perfectly formed, floppy haired charmer and I am afraid RPatz just looks like he needs bath!  And with the news of RPatz playing Kurt Cobain, let’s face it, he won’t be making shampoo ads for a while yet then!

Now don’t want to sound smug but said teenager along with myself (how cool am I) and her chum actually found ourselves walking round the Science Museum with said hair do after hours as you do, (ok stop screaming……) a few weeks back and I have to say, (God I actually sound like my mother now), that young man is a complete dish and has the girls completely in the palm of his hand and he’s clean!  (Now that is actually what my mother said when she walked into Teenager’s room….)

Will he last, can he grow any taller (cos teenager does slightly tower….) will his voice break, will he get spots?  Who cares, when you’ve got a No 1 album in the US for two weeks in a row, who cares…. Go Justin….we love you…x

Well we said we wouldn’t get involved…we said we are impartial and indeed we are!  But it is just too tempting not to have a little daily moment for the leaders of our fabulous country and make a little comment as each day goes by…

So some will be frivoulous, some will be dear to our heart, some will be what we want to hear them say and more importantly change!!!

But today’s will be actually to do with my current ailment and a small dig at the NHS and the cost of dental treatment! Which I cannot believe is as expensive as it is!

Now I am on Denplan…perhaps one of the more fortunate and hence receive a small discount on treatment!  But in reality who the hell can afford to have major dental treatment in today’s world!  Not that I wish to diss any dentists around the country - you certainly earn your money but surely there must be a better or cheaper way of providing dental care!  Certainly for those who can’t get it on the NHS which let’s face it is an awful lot of us!

It’s verging on a small mortgage to have root canal (a la moi!!) so who knows what a crown would cost!  Even the Queen would flinch at that!!

There ends my rant…..x  Tomorrow is another day….What will David do or what will Gordon say??  And as for Nick…

So today’s new toy is so retro we are regressing!!  The return of the Polaroid One 600! 

But this is no ordinary Polaroid camera!  It’s the Paul Giambarba Edition from the Impossible Project - he being the guru who created the iconic look of Polaroid from 1957 to 1977!

And as I am off to the Big Apple this weekend, how cool am I going to be armed with my Polaroid for instant appreciation of the New York Skyline!

Oh we love our job here!  Spending all day engrossed in looking at fabulous things is truly no hardship and we are eternally grateful!
